Why Quality Matters
National Accrediated Program
Centers are accredited by The National Association for the
Education of Young Children (NAEYC) when they reach a high
standard of excellence.
Centers must comply with a stringent set of standards governing
every aspect of their program. Centers submit paperwork, develop
program and classroom portfolios highlighting the work they do
and participate in an on-site assessment. Centers also submit
annual reports to NAEYC.
Nationwide, approximately 7% of all centers are accredited

The National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) accredits home-based providers. Home-based providers must comply with high quality standards and have an on-site assessment.
